Just got off work a little bit ago and decided to take the car out since I have put nitto 305/35/18's on her. All I can say is wow.... it even hooks while trying to do a brake stand. Revved it to 4k and pretty much dumped it and it hooked soo hard.... never going back to street tires again. Night and day difference... car feels sooo much faster, its great. Anyways thought I would share. [Big Grin]

LOL, thats how I felt for one month. Then they got old real quick cause they limited my street fun. Don't get my wrong, they are awesome for stop-light action but they are big time haters when you wanna light em up once in a while (:

I've ran through a couple of sets of the Nitto's on my old '94 and after replacing them every 2K, the rock chips alone on my black rear bumper were enough to switch back to regular street radials...

You can't beat them for "light-to-light" action though... [Big Grin] [burnout]

Tires are so important. Nobody ever wants to listen when you tell them GET SOME TIRES!

There great on the street. But don't drive in the rain with them. The fastest I could go in the rain was 50mph otherwise the backend kept wanting to come around.

Nitto DRs are probably the best all around street DR. From what I hear there are better options as far as DRs but for the street the nittos seem to be the best.... they last a while and grip really good. Ive never had a problem in the rain either.

When I got the SS I raced a Stang from a light, on street tires (non DRs), and luckily I got the jump on him off the light cause when I slammed 2nd I pitched the ass end into his lane. Shortly after that I bought my nitto DRs for my street wheels and havent had that problem again... Ill never go back to street tires for everyday driving.
