i was wondering if i should build the vert i have now or start building on my dads old gt but i just bought the title tonight from him for a 100 dollars, so now the car is mine and i will build that oe first and just get the vert painted first, but i still would like to know how much the verts weigh.

This is what I have heard:
Least weight to heaviest:
Nothback
Lx hatchback
gt hatchback
lx convertible
gt convertible

I think the vert weighs a couple hundred pounds more than the hatch backs. I would make the hatch fast and keep the vert your cruiser.

i think that is what im going to do, make the vert look good and do some things to it here and there but just dump the money into the gt for the most part

yep 100 dollars for a mustang that i have stripped to nothing so many times, its a roller,no hood, no interior,no lights, pretty much nothing there. it didnt have any of the gt stuff, now it does and it has springs, he bought a 96 cobra and i did not want to see this thing just get thrown away, so yea 100 dollars for it was fair.

carpet
insulation
center console
pass seat
rear seat
AC and all acc
PS pump
Smog pump and all hoses

moose nuts
fog lights

My hatch weighs in like at 3100 Full power everything, moon roof, 3550, and thats when it had the S-trim on it. I am sure it wighs less now that I have taken off the S-trim, cruise control, wiper motor and a few other things.
