post pictures of you audio setups. would like to get an idea of what i could do.
my setup is a Alpine 9853-Kicker 6 1/2 door speakers -6x8 rear deck lid speakers-Kicker 12in Solobaric L7 in ported box-havent chosen amp yet. anybody have any suggestions on a amp for the L7?

i got a Rockford Fosgate 2500w amp bridged pushing mine and it hits really hard for the size of the box its in.

get Jl audio's .. i love mine they hit hard as shit.got a sony deck.mb quartz and sony speakers with 2 600 watt pioneer amps.i love my sound...i have some rockford fosgate 12's for sale in a box..hit hard

i might get this one it puts out 600rms @4ohms which is 100watts more that the sony and its a few bucks cheaper

there good amps.i really like there subs,if u ever buy new subs ide say get ma audio .my friend had 6 12" ma audios with ma audio amps in his bronco and DAMN!!!!!.

Has anyone here ever split up two subwoofers into solo boxes ?? how's the sound quality..? i was just wondering, instead of putting 2 10"subs in one enclosure (w/ a divider in the middle)... creating 2 solo 10" enclosures??

whatta ya think?

are you going to make them 2 separate boxs or 1 large box with 2 chambers? i think i know what you mean, so it would be like 2 of my ported boxs put together but the backboard would be 1 whole peice and the front whole board would cover both chambers, where it is 1 whole box but could look like 2 ported boxes together, and each sub has its own box with port, right? or did you want 1 box with 2 chambers and they would share the same port opening? http://www.crutchfield.com/S-vUodJ6xvCkA/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=178650&id=morephotos&pi=1&i=700SQ110D&display=L#Tab

i know eactly what your talking about, ill take some pictures of my friends boxs, he has 2 12in boxes made into the rear quater panel by the tail light housing for solobraic L7s in his 99 gt. the manual from the sub will say the amount of air space needed for the sub and then look at the specs of the box.

These are kinda old... but this was the setup I had when I used to compete in SQ+ IASCA back in the day. This was in a Dodge Avenger.

Eclipse 5303R deck, Autotek Amps, Audiocontrol EQs, MB Quart 3way components, 2 JL 15W6s, Stinger secondary battery, Platinum Stinger connects, etc.... sounded great.. did well in competition. Oh yeah.. the trunk Audiocontrol EQ, I built a umbilical cord into the center console for driver seat tuning. The amp rack had 2 fans built in, one push one pull, and the one pulling air into the rack was plumbed into my air conditioning. The box had plexi view windows to see the subs. The amp rack had a glass top if you cant tell in the picture... all compartments had a cover.

Who does your fab work for your beat? I am looking to have some custom shit done to my drop trunk about summer time. I am having trouble finding people I feel can do the work. I dont really want the regular ply wood and carpet set up. holla

javier keep looking around you can get real good deals on jl shit i jsut sold y 2 w3 12 in a box and the 500/1 amp all for 400 dollars. beat gets expensive but dont be chep on the amp, i think its one of the most important parts.
