I got bored and typed in Myspace on Ebay, I can't believe what people are selling! People are bidding to be on other people's top 8! There's someone selling a whole profile for $500 because they have over 30,000 friends. This is ridiculous. How unsecure do you have to be to pay money just to get people on your page that you'll probably never ever talk to? Too many fake ass people. Today I even found two different people trying to be one of my friends g/f's, they took her pics and make it sound like she was a lesbian.

ya I was going to say, nobody has bid on it. Now from a marketing Stand point this isnt a bad idea because you have 30k people now that you can send out advertisments to...

Fuck, I don't get MySpace. Maybe it's because I'm not 13 or something.

MySpace users link into my pictures (especially my Mustang ones) all the time, but they pick the WORST shots. And every single MySpace profile I've ever looked at has been My First Website.

I'm not saying all MySpace users are kids, but the ones that link into my pics sure seem to be. I don't get it, because lots of people seem to use MySpace. I've just never seen a profile page that wasn't neon orange on neon green with a dozen animated pictures or something...

I don't have a MySpace page. What I have is several thousand pictures online that people tend to link into. When I chase the referrers and look at the linking pages, I get a lot of MySpace pages. I can tell they're kids because they usually say something on their page like "Age: 17".

No Dana, if you have a webpage you can go through a referrer's list. This is the website that brought them to a certain page or picture from your site. So he can see that a certain person's profile brought them to his site. He clicks on the link and see's their profile.

That is absolutely ridiculous...so I guess I can put a picture on ebay of Angelina Jolie kissing me on the cheek and giving me a hug and then whoring the picture out on so people can pretend to be my friend on myspace NEVER going to happen..first out of respect for the persons pictured and secondly...why would I want people to think I was a loser...

I'd say people have a better chance of making money by giving some sob story of getting divorced and then taking a picture of your wife's "10 sizes too small" wedding dress on yourself (ripping from seam to seam) to get a sympathy bid...

sad i kno this..but someone bought a page for 900 dollars because they had 190k friends.But then again the guy whom bought it was a LA club promoter and all the friends were from so cal.so guess it was needed for buisness as i use myspace to fill up clubs too for my boys company haha crazzzzy tho 900 bucks for some shit like that
