Hey All,
The new year is approaching us fast so im giving you all fair warning to do some things in preparation for this years' contest.

If you did not participate in last years' event, Cafords have begun a tradition of organizing a calendar for each year made from our own members' rides! Last year was a blast with a little cruising involved and some tough voting competition. There are twelve months to fill so dont be discouraged! Let's have a good time with this and make 2006's calendar look awesome!

Please if you are planning on participating and entering your car to appear in our 2006 Cafords Calendar:

1. You may submit to me ONE picture per member of your car. Just a picture of your car is fine. No girl/boy models please or pictures with your car.

2. Pictures have to be 3 megapixels or better. . I cannot stress this enough. We had too many people last year send us tiny pictures that cannot be blown up.

3. Email your picture along with screenname and member number to Lauren@cafords.com. Entries without screenname and member number will not be accepted.

Please be aware of these requirements when sending me your pictures. I hate having to try and figure out who you are from your car pics. Not going to happen guys! Entries will be received up to Monday January 2nd! Mark your calendars. I have to have your pictures by then so we can get voting under way and get those calendars made!!!

With that said, good luck to all and may the best 12 muscle cars win!!!!!

Deadline to submit pictures has been extended until Sunday January 8th. Ive had many people submit pictures but need to make them higher resolution. This gives you all another chance to get me the pixels i need to use your picture.

Now since my Mustang looks the way i want it to i will have to do this. I will just have to find the best picture i have of it

EDIT: by the way how big do you want the image? All the pictures i take are 1600x1200 4.1 megapixles. I could go bigger than that but i think that size resizes nicer than other sizes.

Directions say to send it to Lauren@cafords.com. Please send all emails there including screenname and member number. I do not have AOL any longer.

FYI:
4 megapixel or better pictures are what I am looking for. Make sure they are so big that you need to scroll from left to right to see it all. Thanks for the participants thus far and keep'em coming!!

FYI Guys!

My email IS working and I am getting all your emails, including yours Jim Ignore the error message that it will not send. I have no clue why its doing that.

I kept getting emails from AOL saying i was emailing your AOL address when i typed in and emailed your cafords.com address.

Did you get my picture?

Im working on the problem with my email account as we speak, but like i said, I am recieving ALL emails that you send so.....

Hey Jersey,
One, Im looking for single pics of your car. Not multiple vehicles in one picture. Two, I will need the "large" version of your car picture because we post them on our voting board when it comes time for the contest. If you want to, send both the small and large version and I will archive both. Good luck!

As of today, my email should be fixed now so please continue to send me your picture submissions. I have had quite a few in the past twelve hours and have begun arranging them in preparation for voting.

I have still been getting all your submissions so don't worry about me recieving or not recieving them.

Photoshopped pictures are allowed if you want to make a custom background for it.

Sorry but models are still not allowed in your pictures. This is a memorial for CARS not boobs and ass.

Even cars that are not running any longer or are not in your possession can be entered. It used to be yours right?

Lastly, if you are planning on taking an updated picture of your car for the calendar, please do not send me a picture of your car unless its the pic you want entered. When you are getting ten different submissions a day of all these cars, I cant keep updating the voting board with your new pics. Its not going to happen guys.

Any more questions???? Please feel free to pm me your concerns. I am very pleased at the level of enthusiasm you are showing for this contest.

In answer to your question, no the voting board will not be up by January 2nd. The deadline to submit your picture for this contest is January 2nd and it usually takes a couple days to get all the pictures up and running. We will let you know when voting will commence.

Hey guys!!!
Today is deadline day and I have everyone's submissions entered from the weekend. Unless I sent you an email requesting a larger picture, you are good to go. For those of you who submitted a picture to me before the holiday weekend, here are your cars:

Submissions prior to the weekend

I repeat: This link does not include cars submitted over the weekend. Your cars will appear by the time voting is to happen. I believe it will take a coupe days but should be up and running by the weekend. Keep checking the board for the latest updates.

Also if you still have questions or concerns about the voting rules or a general question about the contest, please don't hesitate to ask.
