clean title, look for repainted areas, hinges, hood, fenders, bumpers, maintenance? good luck

Make sure you check the TQ boxes. Does the car have any mods? How much are they asking for it?

I would but I have to trade that pos jetta in. I found a nice 98 yellow cobra but it has like 90k miles and they want like 14k for it. I just want to get rid of that pos jetta.

It's only 3 years old, but that doesn't mean it hasn't had a rough life.

If the title is clean along with the carfax, make sure the body panels all line up, the car sits even, has no leaks, no unusual noises, drives straight, etc.

Always a good idea to get it up on a lift to look at the boxes and investigate for leaks.

You still looking for an '02? Check the For Sale section for my Yellow '02. It has been extremely well cared for and has no problems. Will need tires soon (still has original Goodyears with 43K so that shows how it was babied) so I can work on price.

find out the VIN # and run a carfax report on it.

Checked the listing and its gone, was it sold?

well i didnt get the 02 because it was already sold Also I need to trade my car in so sorry guys not buying outright, if i could buy one outright i would be getting a 96-98 cobra (wich i might still do)
