well i'm back home from college and i this morning i decide to wash my car. and i find a nice little message my gf and her friend left on my car about two weeks ago that has pretty much covered from dust. anyways, i only get wash my car at home which translates to once a month, but i clay bar it and give it some nice meguiars treatment every couple months. however, after a wash and clay bar today, the fingerprints have yet to disappear!!!! usually stuff like this goes away after a good wash, but this one didn't. it slowly started to fade, but it's still visible.

YOu could try rubbing alcohol. It will probably remove any wax that is on there as well, but it should get those prints off too.

get some simple green i used it on my car to get tree sap off of it don't dilute it just spray the concentrated on let it sit for a couple of minutes and try rubbing it off. it might work and it is biodegradiable so wont hurt your finish
