Last night in Santa Clara my 18" black saleen replicas got ripped off... fuckers didnt even use blocks, just dumped my car on the ground.

Anyways, please keep an eye out for them. Although they were Saleen reps, they had cobra centercap knockouts.

Had Sumitomos in back and Champiro (no name tires....but should be easliy recognized) up front.

Thanks....

did you have wheel locks?

or an alarm? Receipts w/full coverage?

I'm guessing none of these + mustang waiting outdoors = bad.

[Frown] I hate theives. [Mad]

Had wheel locks.. they busted them off.

Have a Clifford (whatever model the pager one is, think its the RX something), top of the line. The first time it went off, I figured it was just false warning. Then like 30 seconds later it warned and then went off again, so I took off out of the apartment. Heard a loud crash (car hitting the ground), by the time I got to my car they were all the way down at the other end of the street and I couldn't get a make or plate.

I do have full coverage, trying hard to find receipts. Deductible is $500 which sucks, seeing as though at the end of the day it might only cost me a little over a grand to replace including towing and all that jazz.

Hate thieves.... [Mad]

wouldnt it cost more for wheels, tires. and powdercoating unless they came that way. say they fucked your car up when slaming it down, sorry about your loss i willask my friend if he still has his recipt for his saleens and the recipt for when he got them powdercoated.

Say to insurance you need new brake rotors for slamming it down and ask your friends for receipts for a wheel and rim setup.

You paid for insurance all these years so you should do everything in your power to get them to pay you back if you had full coverage.

Next time you hear the alarm come running out with a good weapon and make them pay dearly. [Mad]

Apparently, my insurance only covers $1000 worth of "customized" equipment like stereos and wheels, so I think I may just go the route of getting stockers quoted from Ford.

Offers for receipts though would still be handy in case that falls through though, thanks.... [Wink]

Do you have to buy only OEM equipment?

That sucks man [Frown]

If i ever heard my car alarm going off though i'd already be running out of where ever i am ready to bust some heads in.

This is why I hate the bay area. "Ghetto thug nation" is soo cool. [Roll Eyes]

around here, nobody really pays attention to car alarms. neighbors' alarms are set so sensitive that flies set them off, so when it comes to a real theft, no one even notices.

3:30 AM exactly. Wish I would have got my hands on one of them.

The stock price is almost always higher from the dealer so don't tell them you had after market rims just stock!

Update....

The shop did an inspection, found out that my bumper cover got cracked too (was going to need it replaced in the future anyways), so that is being replaced, and the dude is gonna do some under the table cash work to fix a small dent that was in my fender.... so at least something good is coming out of this.

Still no word from the police about the wheels yet, though.

and you will never hear shit from them either... my car was stolen over a year ago. 6 months after it happened they called me to see if it had turned up yet. WTF?!?! Like I parked it somewhere and forgot for a few months. Just stupid. Good luck and will keep an eye out for ya. [patriot]
