Yellow vert 98 Cobra, lowered on chrome 18" rims, dumped exhaust!

OR an Atlantic Blue 98 Cobra w/ 18" chrome Saleen rims. Then after time, throw a s/c on it!

hmmmm...Lauren you are right...

i WILL be looking at both cars though. the ONLY thing i dont like about the 99/01 body style is that its too PLAIN. the only things changed are the front end, taillights, and hood (which is still a V6 hood for 03-04) oh yea and rims..i mean it does have 320hp..which is great..but has the IRS...which i dont know if i want. oh it also has the gay clear headlights lol..which i would change in a heartbeat to the smoked ones... [Big Grin]

See, all the more reason to get the Mach1 [Big Grin] Looks are there, smoked headlights... you can tell its a mach1 from the shaker and styling... you get the 32v DOHC motor you want, and a sold rear. [Smile]

yes i did say the style of the two...and IMO the 98 OWNZ the 99/01 cobras in style..and i have always loved how the 98's looked...so we will see in a few months what happens...

oh yea..and Rick..the 03/04 cobras are outta the question..due to the price..unless someone can find one at a dealership for a decent price [Wink]

There were changes made to the 98 cobras that were not done to 96/97. I have heard of 98 cobra owners complaning that they have to order certain parts specificaly for 98..

Off the top of my head (and I know there are probably more differences) but they changed the interior such as where the clock is, cup holders, etc. Plus there were more exterior color choices for 98 models. There is only the two motor mounts on the side of the motor. There is no brace for the engine besides those two.
