You all know what I mean, well most of you.... After childhood birthdays etc go WAY downhill. Things I like are a LOT more expensive. I used to DREAM of a Nintendo, or Super Nintendo which was what, $200 max? Mom ALWAYS hooked me up, but now that I'm much older I don't have a lot of interest in that kinda stuff. Clothes, YAY.... All my "toys" relate to cars, high end stereos, Big screens, computers, ETC. I can't ask mom for that stuff anymore out of fear that she may pony up and I don't want her to spend that much. So this year I went looking through some mags for fairly inexpensive car stuff that I would like but wouldn't spend the money on myself. Mom and my woman hooked me up with a new full weatherstripping kit for my convertable and Forced331 hooked me up with some new floormats! BOTH things that I wanted! FINALLY, lol!

A great birthday these days consists of dinner with close friends and a nice bottle [or 2] of good wine.

The greatest birthday gift my wife [and I] got for ourselves is our house. Not a day goes by I don't put it to good use. [Big Grin]

Happy Birthday, Don!

You've been 48 for the last 4 years now... [Wink] [Big Grin] [patriot]

Edit: He's just saying 48 so he can say that he hit 10,000 posts before he turned 50.
