Okay gentlemen (and ladies)....
i'm simply trying to get the word out to as many people as possible about my stolen car. i don't care if you think i had it coming, or whatever. unless you are wishing me well, or have anything to report, DO NOT POST HERE. the mods removed my last sticky due to drama that i do not want here. thank you to everyone who has wished well.

*mods, can we please make this a sticky, and i promise we'll all try to behave ourselves*

THIS MORNING MY DROPTOP WAS STOLEN FROM IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE!

here are a couple pics of it, i expect it to be found in oakland somewhere, but if anyone sees it, call 911 and report it!!!!!




i also saw a gold honda/toyota sedan drive past my house last night when i got home.

thanks a lot man, but i'm losing hope with each day. right now all i'm hoping for is to get the shell back so i can at least have some closure on this whole mess.
and as for the insurance, i only had liability due to stupidity on my part as a youngster, so i couldn't afford full coverage
and the police are looking. they have pics of the car, but unless they know to look for it, it could very well just drive by them

i know marek, 20/20 hindsight on that one

but i just got complete and full coverage for the 67 and i will do the same for whatever i get next.

I had assumed that since he said the mods deleted the sticky that the thread was also deleted, so i didnt bother to look for it... its not a big deal.

You should look into if your parents home owners ins will cover it man... I had a bike stolen from infront of a buddies house when i was 12, and his parents homeowners ins covered it. Its worth looking into

Don't trip. We all make mistakes. I had to verify your claim myself because it would be BS if they deleted it. I don't think people here are the type to turn their back on a stolen stang case but I guess some people think otherwise.

I was talking to a guy at a stero place about two years ago, and he told me that they stole his stero in his driveway and the homeowners insurance covered it. It was an expensive set-up too.

i drove down there as soon as i heard mine might be down there, drove around the neighborhood and saw this guy and his cousin(sorry man, i forgot your names!) working on it, so i pulled over and bullsh!tted with them for awhile and it turns out i met one of the guys over 3 years ago when i only had exhaust, springs, and the 5 lug conversion and the cobra rs on it! so, i still haven't heard, but thanks to everyone who is still looking for her

i was driving the 67 until it started smoking real bad, i think the valve seals are toast, so i'm back to driving the beemer until i can get this shit fixed

i basically had no choice. since i'm staying with my mom until the first of the year, she gets one side of the garage, and my 1914 model T gets the other side.
and i wasn't scared to park it outside, but i have lost a lot of sleep lately.

i sold ur cars twin to some guy in san mateo or something,, but i dont think its the guys your talkin about,, but it would be a little weird with a fifty that most people think is stolen. my eyes are still open... my eyes are always open whenever i see a nice fifty on the road.

that's the reason why i sold mine,i had no garage for it and i wasn't sleeping good knowing that how 5.0's get stolen all the time. plus i had liability and dumped quite a few dollars on the car.When i get my place with a garage i will buy another one.

god damn it!!!muther freakin thieves!!!...i live in San Bruno...i'll keep a look out as weelll no dooubt man...i am terribly sorry about the loss...you are very strong cuz if it was me i would just cripple to the ground...i wouldnt even show my face around...i know for sure i'd loose my job and stuff...man i am so sorry...i'll do what i can too help locate it...but i havent seen anything yet....some one else also lost the mustang and posted prts that it was equipped with on CL so anyone who would come in contact with a parts posting will know it was stolen...hey dont feel bad about the liablity thing...its noit ur fault....thats just they way u had to do it...u had no choice...and its better insured then never...so good luck and take care....fingers and prayers are with u my friend...
