Anyone know somewhere (or someone)who could install springs for me, preferably in the EAST BAY (dubin area)???? Had a guy who was gonna do it but the price doubled when I showed up...Will pay with cash (and beer??)

Maier Racing in Hayward (510)581-7600 said they charge $325.00 for labor to install springs and caster camber plates, that's for a Cobra. They're really popular with suspension set ups. Give them a call and get a quote if you want. Good luck!

i've never personally done it so i wouldn't want to do it for the first time on a stranger's car. plus, it can't be as easy as unbolting the shock and yanking the spring out. [Smile]

I hear ya bro!

But actually it is fairly simple.

Shock bolts and 2 lower irs support bolts if memory is still working and the whole irs tilts down and the springs literally fall out [Big Grin]
