HOW MUCH W0ULD YOU PAY (IF YOU HAD THE MONEY) FOR THAT 98 COBRA AS A ROLLER (SALVAGE TITLE)?? ITS NOW UNPAINTED AND PREPPED FOR PAINT, BUT HAS SOME 1/4 PANEL DAMAGE ON ONE SIDE. JUST CURIOUS WHAT PEOPLE WOULD PAY, SINCE IVE NEVER BOUGHT A "SALVAGE TITLED" CAR.

Replacing those rear 1/4 panels is no joke, its a LOT of work...
he should know that a salvaged titled car would be worth less due to the title

as a roller as in, no engine, no tranny , harnesses etc etc? then yeah.. no more than 1k, if it was extremely clean, which is not the case.

If you mean the car is in running condition, everything is great but the body and paint, and you'll buy it as a roller becuase it won't pass smog or something then.. let's not forget the salvage tittle...so.. 6k. at the most.

I saw an immaculate 98 cobra with 60k original miles.. totally stock for 13k at a dealership a couple of weeks ago, and i thought that was overpriced.

What's a Cobra without the motor? A hood and front bumper cover. It has a salvaged title and body damage on the quarter pannel..... not worth a whole lot I would think. I saw a 98 Cobra on ebay a while back that had a clean title, body, nice paint and an engine noise that went for around $3000. The deals are out there, you just need to look.

IM LOOKING IN FINDING ANOTHER MODULAR (GOTTA LOVE EM), JUST DIDNT GET INTO THE WHOLE 5.0 SCENE. I WANT A COBRA, AND HE SAID THE LAST THING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IS THE 1/4 PANEL. IM GUESSING IT JUST DENTED. HE SAID THE CHASSIS IS STRAIGHT. IT HASD BEEN IN A FRONT END ACCIDENT AND YOU CAN SEE WHERE THE PARTS WERE REPLACED BY THE WELDING ETC. HE SAID IT DRIVES STRAIGHT ETC, BUT I WANT TO KNOW OPINIONS. IT WILL BE MINUS THE ENGINE AND TRANS, DONT KNOW IF THE COMPUTER AND WIRING HARNESS WILL STILL BE THERE, HOW MUCH YOU THINK ITS WORTH?

not much at all...
i wouldn't pay more than 2k even if it was super clean...
Without an engine or tranny it's just the same as a gt roller with a body kit...
that's my opinion though.. i might be totally wrong.

not worth the money he's asking as a roller. unless you're getting a discount for the salvage title and this is a must have car, your best bet is to get a clean titled car or a v6 to convert to beast.

Sounds like a big headache. I personally wouldn't pay anything for it. If you want a roller than I would find one that at least has a clean title and decent body.
