it's too bad it's gonna be sold in 2 pieces! [BS flag] you have the core system and the 20 GB hard drive is sold seperatly! AND it's not backwards compattable with the older games....unless you buy an upgrade(no internal hard drive 99.00 extra! [Roll Eyes] [BS flag]

not only that Halo 3 can only be played with the 20GB hard drive(because of the storageable medium that the present X box has) i will wait for the PS
3 (cause i could care less about Halo) [Big Grin]

You can buy the system with and w/o the HDD.
The majority of games will allow for saving on a memory card anyhow, the HDD is aimed at downloadable content (i.e. videos, games, tv)

It is gonna be backwards compatable, but its gonna be on a game by game basis.

realistically, if you make a game on 2 consoles, 1 with a HDD and one w/o, and the game is optimized to work with the HDD... you will have faster load times and be able to stream more data.

either way, all 3 are going to be outstanding hardware wise... its gonna come down to the games [Smile]

i can tell u guys by experience ( i can't tell u where i can get in trouble) but playing xbox 360 nba live is b@dA55!!!

madden sucks...

need for speed is dope!

Nba live xbox360> need4speed 360 > madden 360...

Who said you have to have a HD to play Halo3? Uh PS2's HD was sold seperately... [Confused]

Even if you buy the system w/HD it still is cheaper than the PS3.

I don't care about playing old games that is why i'm getting a next gen system but it will play all the best Xbox 1 games.
