you must have the old version. This version was just released a month ago and its 100 times better than the old version.

i got it but it keep freezing my comp or even shutting it down...it keeps sayin something bout system32 or some bs...anyone know wha i can do? or wha it is?

another very good one is the antispyware client from microsoft.

www.microsoft.com

if you leave your computer on all the time this is a great hands free option, every nite at 2am it automatically updates the definitions and runs a spyware scan. Works very well and its free

i prefer spybot... to each his own...
for anti-virus, i use www.freeav.com Ive used it for years.. its picked up shit that mcaffee and notron completely missed (and thats with all the updates)

I also reccommend crazybrowser for the IE users, its a tabbed interface and inculdes a popup blocker that kicks ass.. best of all, they are both free

More definitions and you can make it personally for yourself or someone else who uses the computer.
I also like how its laid out, tells you a lot more info about the things it finds.
