the Eagle chrome polish that comes in a silver can like wax, its a cloth-like thing you polish with, better than any other polisher i've used

Plain paste wax will work fine if the wheels are relatively new. Chrome polish usually has an abrasive in it.

dont mean to rob this post or anything but since its on the same topic... will any of the cleaners mentioned above clean off old baked on water marks? I left my GT parked right in front of a park across from my house for about 4 months and one of the sprinklers is broken and has been wetting my car ever since. The water marks were a bitch to take off the glass and the body but i cant seem to get them off the chrome... any sugestions?
sorry bout my spelling... to lazy to spell check...

01-GT, i'd try either the Blue Magic or the Eagle chrome polish that comes in a silver can that was mentioned.. both are very good products and ive been using them for years. good luck

You can also use Turtle Wax chrome polish. It cost $2 a can at Walmart. We just used it on my neighbors Harley and it took care of his water spots.

The BEST non abrasive chrome/alum cleaner Ive used is FLITZ. The shit is amazing and also protects as it polishes.

FLITZ INFO

*edit*

I use the paste.

I use either Mother's Billet Aluminum Polish, Flitz or Meguiars Tech Metal Polish. All three have given me excellent results everytime.
My other advice would be to definately invest in a Flitz or Mother's polishing ball. They make wheel polishing go about 3 times faster than doing it by hand.
