Happy Birthday Pac...

All of his work is his best - dude was the hardest working person int he music industry - and still is if you look at how much he layed down in such a short time. I'll mourn you until I join you! -RIP-

Oh and the Tupac song of the day is "Staring At The World Through my Rearview". [dance]

damn, i cant believe he would've been 34 now. all of his tracks are purely timeless. you look at today's rap and these fools just can't touch and will never be on his level. (IMHO) Happy B-day Pac. [patriot]

BEST OF ALL TIME. [patriot] he alone had the entire east coast down no one wassss or issss nowhere near his level. Its funy how some people compare PAC to big,jz, blablabla. 97% of all the rappers suck. The west will never be on top again... and another thing e40 and all the other rappers aka-dummies,stupid,morons.they are an embarressment to the bay area.

I agree with you to a certain extent, Rap seriously lacks lyrical content and depth nowadays. I've been waiting for years for someone to bring it back to what it used to be, but 95% of todays music is, I'm sorry to say, pure GARBAGE. Which would explain why 95% of the music I listen to is mostly from that era of rap and some new stuff, very selectively picked out! E-40 is the man though [worship] but he doesn't hold a candle to Pac, no-one does [Wink]

My Fav from PAC - was his "Drunked Freestyle", "White Man's World" and "Realest Shit I ever Wrote" damn and "Me and My Girlfriend"..

While not really his song, he came tight on "Dusted and Disgusted". And I dug him on "Smile" with Scarface. I have every song of his on my mp3 player. I work out to his music. Cant pick just one...lol

Edit

I agree with Cleen50, rap is kinda watered down these days. Thats the reason, I really only list to PAC, DMX and Jada Kiss. These dudes actually rap about something for the most part. And actually put their hearts in it. Most of these cat these days are gimmicks.

hahaha....I forgot it was his birthday. I was just sharing his poetry book with some kids that I mentor at the local rec center. And I quoted some of his lyrics in like 4 conversations today.

Happy B-day.... Still hasn't been a artist like him yet.

I agree with everyone that says rap isnt the same anymore. I dont listen to new shit anymore maybe a couple but 90 percent of the songs i listen to are from the 90's. Mostly Pac an DMX. 50 cent isn't on pac's level nor is lil wayne. I got like 106 2pac songs on my ipod

Favorite song is No More Pain

I never get tired of listening to Tupac. So many great songs with meaning. Unlike todays lets get hyphy crap, get dumb or lolipop. Chuey Gomez pays tribute to Pac every morning around 6:40-6:45.
RIP
