i had my loan for my cobra through schools. they hooked me up. i highly recommend going and talking to them.

Patelco is hella cool too. Theres one in west roseville off foothills and junction.

smaller credit unions are the ones you want, they give better rates than large ones. only down fall is locations are limited, but you can always use other credit union tellers for free. a few i know of are Sacramento credit union and heritage community credit union.

I have had Safe Credit Union for about 15 years. They don't charge and arm and a leg for everything. Plus free checking if you have direct deposit. Also, they advertise that you get your check one day early with direct deposit. I am supposed to get paid on Fridays, but my direct deposit goes in Thursday at 9am.
