Good idea ...Tui's been waiting, why not give him a shot before his contract is over after this season. Might put more fans in the seats to since it's not the same ol Collins

I think it's a good move. Collin's is way too inconsistent, slow, clumsy and fragile. Im sick of his ass. This will give Tui a chance to prove himself to the Raider Nation these last four games. I remember him doing well in the last two preseason's. Let's just hope he's actually been paying attention this season especially with all the asskissing he's been doing on the sidelines to Turner.

With the o-line problems we have right now, it's good because Tui can scramble. This team has so many problems right now. Releasing Scary Collins saves 11.9 million next year, Tui right now is only signed on for 400k, if he plays well for the rest of the season, I say re-sign him next year as the starter, he deserves it. At the same time, we need to give Walter some snaps to start giving him in game experience, because I think he's going to be the future starting QB.
I like how Collins said that he gave the team the best chance at winning, I dont remember when I laughed so hard.
BTW, Raiders just signed on Tui's brother to the practice squad as a FB.

2 years collins won 7 games he sucked bad this year. You can see the frustration on randy moss face the guy is a fuckup.Give tui a shot i bet he will do better than collins. But next year jon kitna is a free agent,he did good before giving way to carson palmer, and rivers could be available because he's gonna be riding the bench behind drew brees for a long time. That's what i miss about gannon he was competitive,if a receiver ran a route wrong or dropped a pass he was all in their ears.

Raider's doesnt need to be spending more money when they already have Tui and Walter, both who haven't been evaluated in a season game, plus Kitna is on par with Tui stats wise. I'd rather see Davis change from his usual self and spend the money on the offensive line and defensive tackles/secondary. Plus, considering Tui is made out for a west coast offensive and not the current offensive structure, i'd really like to see what he can bring. If you're looking for intelligent football conversation, you're in the wrong place. After four years on this site, I've given up.
As for Tui, I don't think he'll be the Raider's savior. If he had been practicing well at all these past few years, they would have given him a chance to start by now. Hope I'm wrong though!!

the problem that no one sees much is their offensive line sucks, other than gallery and walker. They can't open up holes and collins gets sacked because he can't move he's another drew bledsoe.Another problem with the raider organization as a whole is they tend to think quick fix.Add a big name player here and there doesn't always work. they need to go young and stop signing 30+ year old free agents or has beens.Sometimes big eggoes is a problem with all the big name players they have. take the bears for example who do they have other than urlacher as a recognized name and look at their record?Coaching and chemistry is important but if you don't have a leader either on defense whether it's ray lewis or on offensive peyton manning you likely won't succeed.Mat leinart please come aboard.
