When I turn the key on all lights and gages come on. When I go to turn over I get one click and everything shuts down. If I try again nothing comes on. Have to disconnect and reconnect battery to get everything to come back on and then one click and power down. Battery is charged. Please help this is driving me crazy.

clean your battery terminals & make sure its tight.. also check to make sure none of the wires/connectors are corroded or brittle..

yep, it's not a starter or solenoid problem, it's a power source problem and most likely the cables and engine ground.
