Which would better suit this build, stock bottom end stock heads, bbk long tubes full exhaust, trick flow street burner intake, 70mm tb and spacer, under drive pulleys ac deleate. The basics really. The car will be drivin for fun, no racing or donuts but wants some pep in its step
So would 1.6, 1.7 or 1.72 this is with stock cam
Thanks for the opinions and advice

What year block? I "think" you can do 1.7s on a stock block as long as its not an 86 with the flat pistons. Otherwise 1.6 is a safe bet.

long tubes with stock heads? maybe put 1.72 on the exhaust side to help with the stock heads.

upgrade the springs if you do, otherwise you won't gain anything at all.

Run the 93-95 cobra RR. Also as stated upgrade valve springs like the trick flow kit.
