I have way more then 1500 in parts alone. For that price I rather just continue letting it sit in my driveway under the car cover collecting dust.
We're talking about an 18 year old car that nobody liked when they first came out and nobody likes still to this day.
Your a fool...
SN95 Cobras kill it when done right and you know it,not everyone wants a 11-14 5.0 that everyone and their mother already own.......have respect for your fellow stanger son..
It's just my opinion, that's what he asked for. I have no idea what the car looks like, just like anybody else here except op. If it checks out I think JohnB has the right answer but anything over 12k is a stretch, just my opinion. Some people are paying 30k plus for a 72, not my cup of tea primarily because I don't like big hunks of shit in my tea. How much u think its worth, I know you've sold a few.

SN95s have the smoothest lines compared to fox bodies and New edges IMO. When done correctly, SN95s kill it
I'd trade my coupe for a comparable SN95 in a heart beat. The additional weight is not even a concern if you know how to drive the car
But to answer the OP's question, I'd say it's worth about $10-12k. [ 2015-04-03, 07:53 PM: Message edited by: SydeWaySix ]

It's worth an easy $9-11k just gotta find the right buyer who appreciates 96-98 Cobras...with 40k mileage,420rw with good suspension parts and if the cars body/paint/top and interior are clean,I don't see why this car couldn't bring in around 10k

The SN95 Cobra is still a head turner today in 2015. That was my first favorite Mustang and it still is. That's why I kept my 1997 GT/4v swap. The Terminator is up there too with me. But seeing how this thread is for your SN95 Cobra, I would say that if you're not in a hurry, post it for sale in different areas and wait it out until someone bites. Someone will. These cars are slowly fading away so one described like yours is even more rare. Just have to time it right with a buyer.

Put it up for 14k obo and just continue to sit on it until someone comes up with the cash. I personally wouldn't take lower than 10k considering the mileage and the mods on it. Or you can post it on CAFords facebook edition since people there say they have no problem cashing out 5k for a bucket coupe.

Question for you guys. How do you post a picture on here? I don't think I've ever done that on here. I can post some pictures of the cobra.

sn95's don't sell very well.
It took a long time for me to sell my `97 fobra. True it wasn't a 'real cobra' but it was basically a 99 cobra under the body. I sold it for $6k, engine had ~90k on it, suspension (IRS + 03 cobra front arms & 03 cobra bilsteins/H&R race springs and full MM bushing + c/c plate assortment) had ~20k on it.

I might just sit on it for a bit longer. Well unless the right offer comes along. After all summer is right around the corner.

That thing looks very nice. I'd hold on to it personally, It's probably going to be very difficult to find a clean SN95 Cobra like that in the near future.

6k for a 97 fobra sounds like you got a good sell to me.
