<<going to paint shop this upcoming week. They will be doing all the final prep, any additional minor bodywork, fitting and straightening/floating fiberglass, loosening and jamming all panels, etc. Should take them at least a few weeks. Then I get to put her all back together.

Getting everything all fitted up! (rough fit) A few pieces need a little trimming but not too bad at all.

If I go with a gold I'm thinking this shade....
If I go with red it will be this shade
Not sure on a silver/grey yet but leaning toward the 'yota Thunder Cloud.
Green (Dark Moss) I believe.
<<<REALLY leanin toward the green or the gold [ July 07, 2010, 01:20 AM: Message edited by: bwkelley76 ]

The green or gold would looks sick, The dark red isn't doing it for me, but it's a fastback! hard to make them look bad. Car is looking great thanks for the updates

Thanks for following along! More to come for sure. The Hertz cars are intriguing. Not too sure about the Blue/gold, kinda screams NFL team to me...lol. I'm going to have to look at the link and see some more pics before I condemn it though.
Worked on it a little more today...
Hole-saw worked great for tail light clearance, ...very similar to the '68 CS

great work. Its always nice to see things done correctly. I never even thought of the nfl colors till you said it lol. I hate gold.. but the combination of the 2 colors just sparks at me.. I like the red color too.. maybe do a red with silver stripes..

Thanks for the compliment! I'm doing this one the "best I can" with the capitol I have to work with. If I had more money there are so many things I would do differently. :/ I know it's going to be nice though. Just wish I had another 10-20 grand to put into it.

That blue and gold is hella clean I'd go with that IMO if you don't like the gold maybe blue and white or blue and orange

Why not all gold and then black trim, Like the GT350H color scheme just backwards.
